Alright guys heres my problem,
Ill be driving down the road and ill take a left hand turn and in the middle of it ill start to hear a whistling noise and lose partial clutch pedal pressure. The clutch pedal will stay the same height (cause of the spring) but the point where you can actually feel pressure like its actually working is about half way down, now if i touch it for a split second and give it a minor pump it will go back to normal pressure. The car has done it for a while (before the new clutch and now with the new clutch and extended slave cylinder rod) but the whistling noise has just started recently. It doesnt sound like a throw out bearing .. more like a belt. The master and slave cylinder and slave rod have all been changed recently.
Now heres where it gets kinda odd to me .. if i notice the noise i will obviously pump the pedal slightly and it will go away .. but i found out if it starts to make the squeeling whistling noise and im driving down the road it will only make the noise when turning to the left. If it does it when i go down the road and i zig zag it will stop whistling when i crank it to the right and will continue when i crank it to the left.
Now im not really sure what it is. I know at least one of my belts probably needs changed cause its been needing it for awhile. (it kind of chirps a few times every couple seconts but nothing really annoying) and then the one squeels like crazy when its cold, im assuming that ones the power steering belt. In any case that would be fine for explaining a noise if it didnt have to do with the clutch pedal. thats where i get lost when i try and rationalize it. I dont see why my clutch loses pressure. I know the air is completely out of the system cause i have bled it a few times since i noticed it and all of the components are basically new. Could there be something in the lines that is messing the pressure up?
Could it be crankwalk? i know its not common among 6 bolts but it seems like some of the stuff i read about it seems like it could be.
Please help me out if you have any ideas.
Thanks for reading.
Luke
