You probably won't like this, but anytime I've heard of a crankshaft position sensor messing up, it's been crankwalk. I'm new to dsms but I've searched this site for a while and that sensor always has been crankwalk.



Edit:but I'm not 100% on that, someone else might come in and have a different answer.

Well that may be a possability but i doubt it. Car runs quite strong with the exception of a verry slight high idle once and a while(900-1000 rpms).

But it does seem strange that the ecu is showing a problem with the sensor and not acting so.
 
Just to be safe, I think you should try the hard left turn, and see if your clutch pedal sticks to the floor. Which that might not do it so you might as well just measure your crank endplay to be sure.
