mine is somewhere between .008 and .009 OMG

the crank was macheaned and the whole rotating asembaly was balanced so i am sort of stuck in with the crank unless i want to get the whole thing ballanced again

Not neccesarily, you can get a crank and have it balanced by it self and as long as you dont change internals and everything you should be OK. Not to mention their are alot of people running good times with unbalanced engines.

Yes they do, but I was told from a reputable DSM tuning shop that as long as you dont change internas you should be fine. Now would I go revving it to 9K, no. But even with my rotating assemnly balancednow I doubt mine eill see over 7500.

ok, i just talked to slowboy and they said that i have to have material added to the thrust surface and then machined back down. or get a new crank.
its too bad that my machine shop missed this little detail.

sure as hell wouldnt put a crank like that in my car.

My crank was welded, re-welded, offset ground, welded again, and makes over 600 WHP.

What you meant to say, was make sure they know what the hell they are doing before grinding/welding your crank.
