Crank Timing Gear Won't Fit

Finishing up my latest rebuild and have never came across this before:
It a G4CS motor, motor has been apart for a year
My brand new crank timing gear will not fit over my crankshaft. Neither will the balance shaft spacer. They seem as if they need pressed on.
I've tried the old gear I pulled off and it is the same. Won't go on for anything.
There are no burrs or anything to be preventing it from fitting on. I know it should be tight but not like this.
What's going on here?!
I'm about to torch the gear and slide it on.

i wouldnt do that i would double check the part number on that and make sure it is the same and if u have to go and get another one from your local parts store
