Crank end play

My crank end play was measured at .065"

Mainly how bad? And is their anything you can do to help prevent catastrophy?

Man, who told you that, and I hope you mean .0065" not .065".
I'm pretty sure the spec is no larger than .0071", and the service limit is .009"

I had a mechanic check it because, I have some issues in that department. On the sheet is says .065", maybe he ment .0065".

Any idea how long it will take for the crank to move to .009"?

Basically should I be really worried, a little worried or very?
