Took the crank and block to machine shop. He said the crank is too far gone to reuse. So I was wondering if anyone has been in this situation. I don't really want to spend $800 on a new OEM crank. I looked at DSM graveyard they have reconditioned cranks for $300 but we all know about their rep.

So should I save up and order a new oem crank or go with an eagle crank.

I just want the stock specs as the oem 7 bolt 1998 crank has.

If you want new you could get an Eagle. They run $595 which is much cheaper than OEM. If you want a reconditioned crank we sell them for $250. They're std/std, hot tanked, magnafluxed, cleaned and micro-polished.
