How do you remove the center crank bolt to get the sprocket off?

Also, is there a special method required to remove the oil pump sprocket?

1/2 impact gun, 19mm(?) socket for the crank bolt, 14mm for the oil pump gear bolt.

Loosen the oil pump gear first.
 
There are a couple ways to get that sucker off there. If you have access to a high enough powered impact driver i'd try that and some PB Blaster first. One of mine came off with my gun that's rated to 450ft/lbs.

But when I didn't have that it was quite a bi*** to get off. Lock up the tranny somehow (if still in car). If not you can make a tool that attaches through the flywheel threads to hold the crank in place. Then take a breaker bar (sometimes a tire iron will work too) with a long breaker pipe over it and use some force. You will break your tools before you hurt the crank. Just make sure the socket you have is the right size so you don't strip the threads.

For oil sprocket you can just use impact gun as well. Should spin right off.
 
Engine is out of the car. I can bolt the flywheel to the block for the crank bolt if need be. Hopefully impact gun will do the trick.

What about the oil pump sprocket? How do I lock that thing up so it doesn't spin on me?
 
The timing belt will hold the oil pump gear so you can zap it loose
 
Or if you need to take the oil pan off for any reason, wedge a piece of wood wrapped in a towel between the crank and the block to keep the crank from spinning. This is how I've always done it, both loosening and tightening.
This is my preferred method of handling this situation as well.

For the removal of the bolt:
Wedge the crank like mentioned above ^
Then slip a 22MM 6 pt closed wrench over the bolt with a cheater bar over it.
You can then stick your 1/2in impact gun in the slot.
Now you have the power of a large wrench AND an impact gun to get it off easily :thumb:
 
My dad ended up getting it off for me while I was at work.

I bent up and drilled a piece of aluminium to bolt the flywheel to the block. Then he just used a ratchet and breaker bar and it popped loose.

I know this has been resolved. But I have had good luck using a motorcycle clutch basket holding tool to keep the crank from turning. Most people don't have one, but if you do it will save you from having to make a tool.

OMG...3D printed a concept wrench for the crank pulley then got it plasma cut outta steel to bend it and find this technique. DSMTUNERS have once again saved my Butt!

Thank you kind sir........worked great as i had removed flywheel already.Used 6point socket aswell so to not split the nut like some mentioned above:thumb:
