i have replaced both gaskets, used crush washers on the pan side and im still getting a TON of oil from somewere.ALL gaskets on every part of the car are new.this is my 5th dsm and this is really the first time i have had such an issue with oil leaks.i have pulled the turbo off about 10 times in the last 6 months due to random different issues and im guessing that caused a crack in the line. im going to replace it with a stocker but i need to know......just how common is a cracked line?

O man dont get me started on that stupid line:notgood: I replaced mine twice already, your best bet is to get a ss line from extremepsi or somewhere, it was a pain in the ass for me to install it and still leaks! i think im gonna cut the stock one at the banjo and put a rubber hose with clamps.

Your waisting your time getting another stocker. I think they are like $28.00 when you can just get the two adapters and if your cheap get the push on AN fittings and a piece of hose! PM me if you want a good deal on a PUSH ON AN Fittings( 1 straight and 1 45)

you need to make sure you have the little copper shim things, get it all put on with some thread sealer and the coat thatbitch in a copper based rtv...let it dry and then let it eat.

Cracked oil return lines are extremely common. I don't understand why people don't just replace them with a silicone elbow. My '84 turbo Datsun used one. Check a truck supply. Cut out the flexy area, use a couple of fuel line clamps and be done with it.

Just to add... I have more problems with my feed line than my return line. The copper crush washers were wore out and leaking on the turbo and caused it to smoke and smell. I would just check to make sure your not leaking from the feed line. After I replaced the washers...no more leak :D

i had some silicone tubing lying around and did a 3am fix. worked great and now i can pull the turbo w/o breaking a seal. ROFL
