ok so im new, i have a 96 talon tsi awd, and i need some answers... i recently had the head gasket replaced, and also the timing belt, checked timing and all is good, also did leak down test and all was good there, so heres the prob when ever i punch it (at least 75% WOT or more) in every gear at bout 3000 rpm the car beggins to stutter, if i lett off to about 50% WOT the car recovers and continues to accel smoothly, have no idea what the prob could be... also, my abs light is on, tried to check the codes (i have a mac tools mentor scan tool) but i cant find the second plug for obd2 i found the one on lower rite hand side of steering column, but the cable it tells me to use aslo has another smaller plug which i think supplies power and ground, it has about 10 or 12 slots but only to have conductors in them have no idea where whis other plug is located.... thanks in advance for your help :thumb:

If that boost leak test doesn't work, check your plugs, wires, coil-pack, power transistor and maf. Remember test these out, and a compression test won't hurt either.

thanks, ill try some of those tests this weekend, and post my results, any idea as to the location of that second plug tho?
