Could this be a timing problem?

I fixed all my boost leaks and my car still doesn't run right. I bought the car with alot of problems and I thought I fixed them all. Whem i'm driving the car will hesitate and I will make and hold boost but my rpms will stay around 3,000. This is the best way I can explain my situation.

Are all of your intake hoses, in good condition? No Leaks? Clamps Tight? I had a loose hose going to the throttle body, and had the same sounding problem as you are...

all my clamps are tight, all my hoses are good...no leaks

Check the bov for correct pressure. You may have some leaks in your vac lines.
Are there any strange sounds coming about when you hit 3k? Does it stutter right there - then it may be a MAF problem - check your electrical connections.

BOV seems ok... but the car also has a hard time starting and the idle seems just a little rough.

I had a similar problem. I upgraded to a 2g MAS, and all is good.

I was looking up 2g mas and the people that were havin the problems were not making any boost. Doesn't really sound like the same problem that I am haivng.

The 2g mas is usually due to overrun at higher RPMs for us 1g's... which also requires an eprom or other tuning to adjust. Do you have a 2g mas on there with a 1g ecu or 2g ecu with 1g mas?

I see it in your pic, just wondering how recent that was.

I found out what it was. No local shops could find out what was wrong with my car, so I had to take it to a place in GA. They checked my timing plate and it was just spinning around. So they fixed that and now the car runs like its brand new.
