could it be a boost leak?

I have a 1g talon tsi fwd. For a while it wouldnt crank, but i finally go it to fire up. but while driving it, when it gets up to 2500-3000 rpms, it starts to hesitate really bad and doesnt want to go above 3000. could it be a boost leak or does anyone have any other ideas. any advice would be appreciated.

1. Boost leak

2. Spark plugs are bad (gap is wrong)

3. Problem with ignition coil or spark plug wire

Those are the first three things that come to mind. Spark plugs are cheap, so if you haven't replaced them in the past year, go get some.

sparkplugs are new..just bought them last week..but it is possible that the gap is off. I gapped them at .30.
