i have a 96 eclipse rs and it has a bad coolant leak towards the back of the engine and i changed the lower heater hose but its still a bad leak and when i look under the car its droping right by the cat converter help me please

atl huh im from ga too, but it could be coming from anywhere and leaking onto your cross member.
check all hoses, and timing belt area. even the radiator bottom could be a small leak, dont rule anything out.

If it's like the 1990 talon, I would say check the Throttle Body cooling hose. Every time I take the TB off I manage to destroy one of the hoses. When it leaks it looks like it is dripping right on the tranny.

Go to Advance Auto and rent the coolant system pressure tester. You pay the cost of the set then you get it all back when you are done. You put it in place of the radiator cap and pressurize the coolant system. You can look for leaks while the engine is cold then.
