So car started overheating, drove a few minutes to parking lot at work. Popped the hood and saw coolant coming from somewhere under the power steering pump. Looks like from whatever the small rubber hose coming off the coolant manifold goes to. haven't been able to get under car yet. Idea's?

Once I got the car stopped (temp had reached the H, but engine light had not come on.) I'd say maybe half a gallon or so came out. It was not a stream, but fast dripping. Don't know how much fluid is in the system still. Over-flow bottle was full, but I've never had a car that would actually pull the coolant out of the bottle if needed.

Just got the Service Manual downloaded.

It looks like the hose is Item #14 on the attached image. What does that connect to?

Edit: Looks like the oil-filter-housing. (This could get interesting.)

I had to replace #10 and #15 on mine, they were both 3/8".

I'd definately rule out the hoses by replacing them before jumping to the water pump. Just go get like 3 feet of 3/8 and a box of clamps... sure, ones leaking now... but then the second or third will let loose down the road, preventative maintenance.

Thanks, I'll be swapping them all out. Just need to get it home first.

It was the rubber hose #14.
It is 3/8" hose.

Impossible for me to get to the bottom clamp without the car on a hoist.
The top clamp had cut into the hose and that's what the leak was, lost about 1gal. of coolant.

Got it fixed enough to get it home, putting it on the lift tomorrow to replace the hoses properly.

Thanks again for the help guys.
