Had to pull the transmission for a multitude of issues. Already grabbed an act LW flywheel thats OTW but thoughts on this ebay flywheel? Resurface and store just incase or just toss? Looks like it has some light hot spots and the teeth are a lightly chewed from some debris that got up in the clutch housing.

I can't see the teeth but those burn spots are nothing. Look closer for cracks. Have it turned and it's all hood unless you have deep cracks. If cracks are present after turning its likely a paperweight.
Thank you. Last owner had the XTD ebay kit on it and was just wondering if the flywheel was worth keeping if needed in the future. The pressure plate and disc are going right in the trash though. Disc was soaked in gear oil from a hole in the trans. Waiting for local shop to get the hole welded shut and internals looked over and cleaned

If trans had a hole you got bugger problems.
Yea im working on it. Seems to be the previous owner dropped the speed sensor bolt in the tranny and it blew out into the housing. You can see the bolt at the bottom. Mangled. I ran a scope in the diff to check for damage but I didnt see anything other than some very light scoring on the outside (non contact point) of the diff gear (spider gear?). Shifted and drove fine before i put it away (other than it p*ssing gear oil). Gear oil had only a light bit of metal dust in it so im hoping it’s salvageable.
