-Driving down the express was and experianced a "lock out" when i tried dropping to 4th gear to pass a car. I then pressed the clutch down as hard and far as I could and tried to get into any of the gears, it finnally let me slam in into 4. Came up to toll booth and cant shift out of 4th and have lost all clutch pressure. tranny wont even let me grind the gears except reverse..........
Is this a linkage issue or an internal trans thing? When im inside the car i can move the stick into all the gears and it "feels" like its clicking into the gears, then when i go to start the car it turns the tranny and axels over and wont start, (too much strain)
Any ideas? I have the car up on jacks with a tranny jack ready to pull it, jsut wanted to see if you guys had any other ideas before i take the trans off........

Check your master and slave cylinders for fluid and then for operation. See if you can wiggle your clutch fork at the slave cylinder. See if your clutch pedal assembly is moving the master cylinder rod in and out...
