I was out driving yesterday when all of a sudden my car began to putt rapid fire. It made the sound exactly like fouled plugs do, that boxer engine-esk grumble with slow acceleration. I thought it was no big deal because I am running on the rich side at the moment and figured I just fouled the set of plugs. However I pulled them out after arriving home and they looked fine. Just in case I went ahead and tossed in a brand new set. My Accel 8mm wires are also only a month old, if that. However, this did not stop the problem. It will put at any and all RPM's, even at idle. If I rev it even a little, it will create a big gun-like backfire. What else could be causing this? Coil pack maybe? Thanks.

Coil pack, transistor possibly, injector clogged/harness loose more likely given the scenario leadign up to your problems. If this does not cure the problem, pull the plugs/wires and verify if each fires (spark) when turnign the car over with the MPI fuse removed (prevents the injectors from firing) :dsm:

Ok, all my injector connections are tight, and the plugs are sparking. Is there a good way to test for a clogged injector? I guess I'll also just order a coilpack and see if that helps the problem.
