I understand and have read up on how to install the wideband..

but wiring the white 0.5v wire into the ecu is where i'm confused..
Every post says it's very easy but doing electrical stuff to my car is where i cross line, something about it freaks me out..

But anyways, I know i'm suppose to "Tap" the wire into pin 75.. How do i ... "TAP" a wire into the ecu? I really don't wanna mess up anything on my dsmlink eprom ecu...

Thanks again,
As always.
Nick.

I'm assuming AEM wideband?

To "tap" a wire in, you want to leave as much wire on the plug side of the ECU wire and then just cut it. Then you'll take the white wire from the wideband and solder it to the section of wire coming out of the plug. My guess is you won't be able to get more than a few inches, but keep in mind you don't want to cut it too close or you could have issues soldering to such a small stub. Make sure to put some heat shrink or electrical tape around the joint. Then put some around the end of the wire that disappears into the harness.

And make sure to disconnect the battery before doing anything electrical.

Answer this first, I'm Assuming your talking about the wire connectors that connect to the ecu.. (So i don't need to take ECU OUT of the car, i just need to PULL the ecu wire harness connectors out..[4 total] and find pin 75.. splice into wire 75.. tape up the wire leading back into the wiring harness, and solder the white wire into the little bit of wire left that is still connected INSIDE the connector. Correct?)

(heres quick pics i drew up for a visual, are these correct?)

Or do i splice and NOT cut completely thru the copper wire..
