i finally got my car back together and started but now its not running that great and my wideband is no longer displaying anything/ no lights or anything. would this cause my car to run like crap? i checked all the connections and they are all connected, is there a way i could of just damaged the sensor or is my gauge shot?

Depends on if the wideband is being used as a narrowband or not. If the gauge doesnt have any lights then go back thru your wiring system for the gauge and check that it has power and a good ground. Check fuses as well.
