Ok I have not done a boost leak test. I am waiting for my upper intercooler pipe to come in to see if this remedies my issue.
Basically what is happening is under regular acceleration the car is bogging out. When it reaches 5psi it is basically falling flat out on its face. If I steady try to get to highway speeds it feels like it is hesitating to accelerate. When I am at idle I can smell a very rich gas mixture at idle with the window down. The car is misfiring as well at idle. If I hold down the gas and floor it through a gear the car will kind of stumble at 5 psi, and then jump to 13psi and pull decent but then stutter like it is fuel cutting and going into a safe mode/limp mode during deceleration. Idle is up at a stop, and after letting off of the pedal after accelerating it drops to about 300-400 rpms and then bounces back up. I have a FMIC installed on the car. I have checked, re tightend all the clamps, and have seen no leaks from the lower pipe portion.
Any opinions on solutions and what the cause may be please feel free to post.
I am thinking a boost leak because it is stock Upper Intercooler Piping, joined to 2.5in Lower piping and a front mount. Car did not run like this with the Side Mount on. It was a bit choppy but not nearly as bad as now.
Thanks again!
