Common for the rear control arms to hit when lowering a 1g AWD?

Got Eibach lowering springs and KYB shocks on my 92 tsi.
Not something I would recommend. The rear control arm is about 1 inch from the frame and any bump makes it bottom out. Looks like it's cutting in to the frame. I'd have to get a better look but I don't know if there's anyway to fix this??

Do you have a picture? My car sits very low in the back ( I would say 2.5" or even more) and it doesn't bottom out on anything. I do have modified upper control arms though if that makes a difference.

Getting the rear aligned maxed out the stock control arm adjustment and according to the place that did it, it still needs to go a slight bit more to be perfect, but it's not noticable.

no pics. If you take the rear tire off. Right behind it where the upper control arm (AWD) goes in and the wheel wheel comes down it hits.

Either something is bent, or your rear shocks are too short, allowing the suspension to travel up farther than it's supposed to go. According to the tech manual, the minimum length of the rear shock body is 15" for the AWD, and 12.4" for the FWD. This is measured from the center of the lower shock mounting bolt to the top of the shock body where the damping rod comes out.
