Colored air Air Compressor

Anyone know of an air compressor that can pump in colored air? like a fog or such? for finding boost leaks, of course! or any ideas on how to make something like this work? would be very useful

That's simple. Pull the UICP off at the elbow, take a big ol rip off the bong, blow it in one end, put the UICP back on, presurize the system.
I actually think it would work with some sort of smoke.
You would probably be better off with soapy water or something though. (on the outside of course, not the inside)

if you were to do it after the turbo. chalk would be the best for accually finding the leak. but you would have to find something that is safe for the combustion and cylinders.

Fog machine! Their like $30 at Targay.

Blow some fog in, then cap it off and hit it with the air compressor.

ya but the problem is those particles in the combustion chamber.. smoke machines emit chalk i beleive..

Just spray possible leak sources with soapy water.

Use windex, it will bubble.

If you spray it with soapy water you will find it.

We use that method in industrial applications. Just don't be stingy with the soap.
