What would be a good cold air intake to go with??? What else will i need to buy to install it or just the intake itself. sorry im a d**n noob :thumbdown

Are you planning to stay NA or going turbo down the road? If you are turbo then buy a cheap CAI on ebay and buy a good air filter like K&N. Save as much as possible if you going turbo. I haven't even started to save up yet. :D

if you search harder you will find other threads w/ the same question and answer, but a majority of the tuners recommend just buying an ebay cai off ebay and just buying a k&n filter or what not. if you plan on going turbo then just save ya money for the complete kit and not waste it on any part for the non turbo. the choice is yours...keep us posted man. peace-josh

I have an ICEMAN CAI and it was a great upgrade to even a Ebay intake. My Ebay one got really hot after about ten minutes of driving, but my ICEMAN never gets hot at all and it fits perfect, looks great, and really helps my power about as much as my underdrive pulley. Also I got it with a K&N filter for $65 off of DSMTrader.com. Just check Ebay and everywhere for a used one.

if you want a brand name try and go with a used one when it comes to i/h/e it just isn't worth spending a whole lot i personally don't think! i bought my injen cai for the msrp price and after doin more research on dsmtuners i was mad when i read that i should have just gotten an ebay one and attached a k&n filter on the piping. but i love my intake...so the choice is really yours man...

i am planning on going turbo down the road...so i will take your advice and get a CAI on ebay...or should i save my money and wait to get the turbo kit...im so cofused

how far on down the road would u go turbo? if it's gonna be a couple of years or what not, then yeah do it up with the ebay cai, it should only run ya about 30-40 bucks w/ s&h. other than that if i were you and you plan on going turbo i'd just buy parts that you could use whether you go turbo or not. (i.e. af/x underdrive pulley, plugs, wires, ignition, coil, fuel pump, s-afc, possibly 2.5" catback exhaust, etc.) do u plan on buyin a turbo kit or customize the kit yourself?

i have an aem and i love it!!!

I have an aem v2 and I couldn't be happier. You get what you pay for, just remember that when buying some cheap intake off ebay.

"lesb1978"its an arospeed strut bar.
i'm not real sure what all colors its offered in.my friend owed me $10 and gave me the strut bar instead,so i didn't complain about it.i have an aem bypass valve for the intake, but i only put it on in wet conditions.i'll get a pic with it on if you'd like.
i also had a cheap "BOMZ RACING" CAI from ebay.i payed $50 shipped for it.cheap as shit i tell ya.the bracket that mounted to the chassis broke off after a few months and my filter broke as well.
i like my aem tho.
