Colant pipe in the way of turbo uprgade

hey guys i need to know if there's any way i can relocate this pipe or do something about it because it gets in the way of the turbo im putting in. The second picture shows exactly where the turbo hits. Im thinking im probably going to make a custom one so it wont be in the way but if there's a better way please let me know! ohh and the turbo is a t3/t4 50.

Depending on how much of a clearance issue it is, you can flatten it a little to clear it

Most people just dent their water pipe if it needs a little more room for the turbo. I can't imagine you'd need too much more room.

First you should fix those broken exhaust manni studs in the head. Then use a ball peen hammer to make clearance for the compressor cover. Test fit it multiple times because if you dent the pipe too much you are going to damage the o-ring at the thermostat housing or worse bend the pipe out of shape where it can seal no more. If you dont want to dent the pipe, buy a exhaust manifold that has a thicker flange at the head so it will push the turbo further from the pipe.

As stated fix your exhaust studs first. What exhaust manifold are you using? could you take a picture of the turbo on the engine so we can see how bad the fitment is?

I agree you should be able to just flatten it out

Could use a turbo flange spacer. Like this.
Of course get the flange spacer that matches your turbo/exhaust housing.

May still have to dent the water pipe a little.

True. Just have to play around with the tolerance numbers you have OP and see which would be best for you. Chances are you just need to slightly dent the pipe.

u'd be able to get away with no spacer just denting the pipe, spacers are usually for when the hotside hits the block

common sense would also tell you that you dont flatten it like a pancake... just enough for clearance.. but thanks for calling me out
