c,
like the title says, I have a big 16g a 2.5 inch intake with a draw through gm maf, and a k&n high flow cone filter, this BARELY fits between the turbo and the side of the car, i pulled the actuator off because i kept hitting my knuckles on it when i was putting the intake pipe in and it was pissing me off. When I went to put the actuator back on I had a problem, the nipple on the actuator touches the intake pipe itself, which means I won't be able to get a vacuum line over it. any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

I had this same problem with my FP 4in intake. Its possible to get it on try a small screw driver inside the nipple and tweak it out of the way a little, just don't collapse the nipple . The other ideas I have was making a plate out of some steel, to act like a spacer down and away, wouldn't be that hard. Another idea is search around, somebody had a stock waste gate modded with a v-band holding it together, Which you would be able to twist it out of the way. Also Forge make a adjustable waste gate that the nipple can be clocked a different way. Last get a external waste gate, Expensive, but works.

I had this same problem. Fabricating a bracket sounds like a good idea. I just ended up bending the vacuum tube slightly. My intake was actually pinching the vacuum line and my wastegate wasnt opening during boost. Give that a try, but just as ALL BOOST said, make sure you dont collapse that tube.
