stock air box in the way of smic piping

alright i have a completely stock 97gst and i have a greddy hard piping kit i want to install but the air box seems to be attached to something and i couldn't find anything also what size is the stock smic inlet and stoc turbo outlet? is it 1.75 inches?

There are 3 bolts in the bottom of the air box.
