Just recently got this 91 eclipse with what I'm assuming is a JDM motor swapped into it, not really %100 sure that's just what a few people have said it looks like. I'm wondering what this pipe that comes off near the bottom of the piping that comes off the air filter box is supposed to be connected to (the one that has a nut blocking it off, pic's in my profile. It is not letting me attach it to this thread because I already attached it in another.). Any help would be appreciated, I'm in the process of trying to fix some of the half assed stuff the previous owner did, will hopefully have this issue fixed and the OEM cyclone turbo headers back on it by this weekend.

That looks like the recirculation hose for the BOV. You want it connected.

And forget the JDM stuff, you have a 4g63. That's all that matters.

Thank you, I did a little searching now that I know what said hose is. I'm guessing that the old owner plugged it to make the bov sound cooler but I'm pretty sure that it's what's making my car run so rich / choke out sometimes, I hope.

Okay so I have finally gotten around to getting some hose to run back to where the recirculation hose is blocked off. The issue I have now is the blow off valve, as you can see it's not a real friendly shape to wrap a hose / clamp around and I'm not even sure if it's made to be recirculated, any input on this would be very helpful. I plan on getting this done tomorrow, I have the stock bov laying around here somewhere if I would need to use it. I plan on replacing the bov soon anyways because it's just rigged onto the car with what looks like JB weld :ohdamn: The bov in the pics below aren't mine but they're the exact same one. Also as a side question could someone tell me the technical name for the pipe I have circled that comes off off the turbo and into the pipe that leads to the inter cooler? It was broken by the old owner and also rigged with a coupling and piece of PVC pipe as you can see. :banghead:

Thanks,
Brandon

That woukd be your kower intercooler pipe (LICP) and it goes from the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet. I would install the stock BOV if I were you, the unit you have on now requires an adapter in order to be recirculated.

The metal pipe (in black) from the turbo to the soft piping is called a J-pipe. It should have a boost fitting which would be connected to the wastegate via a silicone or rubber hose (which seems to be there by the looks of it). As mentioned earlier, the soft black piping is the OEM LICP.
