hey quick question, does the coil pack for a 420a need igniters or anything? because im putting in a standalone in and not sure if i need to get a 2 channel igniter to run or if it can run with 2 ground side switches in the ecu. thanks

I'm not 100% sure about that. Can't say I've ever heard anyone mentioning "ignitors" in advanced 2GNT discussions. I do know a couple people running two channel systems, but even so, that's more than likely going to end up a wasted spark scenario to work.

What standalone system?

EDIT:
NM. Looks like you're running the Haltech. (See how useful it can be to update your profile, no0bies?) I still can't give you a definitive answer either way. I know of people running something like a DIS-2 or DIS-4 off the two ignition drivers on the Megasquirt, but like I said, they end up with wasted spark. It's not really that bad, imo.
