Ok... I really need help!

I need to know what code scanners are available for my car.
I don't want to own one or order a bunch of parts off e-bay to create one, I just want to rent one (if available).

The P.O.S....
1990 Plymouth Laser
2.0l non-turbo
auto
built 6/90

I am having a problem that I believe is sensor related & would like to isolate the problem before I go through the trouble of replacing anything unnecessary.

Vatozone said no scanner exists on the planet for my application. OMG

Murrays has an Actron Super AutoScanner CP9145, but the special Chrysler plug they supplied (which cost me extra) didn't fit. WTF
The plug was blue with 6 terminals & was stamped "LH".

Last question... now don't laugh :tease:
Is the diagnostic link the black covered plug attached to the fuse panel, on the drivers side of the passenger compartment?

I would really appreciate it if anyone can help. :thumb:

WHAT???
I'm suprised NOONE has ever retrieved codes from these cars!

Does ANYONE here have any experience actually fixing these cars???

I'm not really interested in any mods, just want to make it run right.

CAN ANYBODY HELP? :toobad:

With replies like that It will suprise me if you get any replies. Since your a newb to the website you need to be nice and not so cocky. Did you ever stop to think that you could solve this problem going to a local Autozone or parts store? :toobad:

hey jerk, instead of having 2 threads on the same thing, y not read the perfectly good advice i gave you on the other one.

in fact, just to save you the trouble of going to that thread i will quote what i wrote in it:

they said no scanners exist for it? bull. i use a snap on scanner at my vo tech just fine on my 92. if i remember correctly, autozone uses the same exact scanner as ours, so if ya go to an autozone, they will scan your car free of charge. but it requires the hyund-2 connector at the end of it, and that has to be specially ordered, so they may possibly not have that.

You don't need 2 threads on it and you don't need be abusive.

mysticfire6602- I understand your frustration as well but please don't add to the fire.
