Ok maybe i am wrong. got my car red today and it was code p1400 now when i look it up in net it comes up

Heated Catalyst Battery Voltage or Current too Low During Heating (Bank 1)

but on here its different

what is p1400 for a talon and whats it mean?

Q2 my car ticks is that normal sounds like its coming from intake but dont no

Q3 i pull back seat up today and my fuel pump is wired derect like 8g amp wire
what is the reason for this

q1.......p1400 is for your MDP sensor on your intake manifold, its more than likely dirty if you still have your EGR and not running a catch can, so try removing it and cleaning it good . If that dont work, they do go bad and they are pretty expensive.

q2.......this is KINDA normal...DSM's are known for there loud lifter ticks thats why it is so common for the 3g revised orifice lifters upgrade. If it gets really loud one has failed and you should replace them all with the 3g ones. Also its common for Injectors to make loud noises that resemble a top end lifter tick. If it sounds like its from intake most likely the injectors then.

I like to get a long screw driver or pry par and touch it to random places on the engine then seal your ear around the handle and you will be able to pinpoint the area of the noise with ease. You should try it. Make sure you seal your ear around the handle or you wont be able to hear anything tho.

q3.....thats the common fuel pump rewire, dont quote me but im pretty sure thats so your aftermarket fuel pump will not struggle with receiving voltage in turn making it less noisy
 
I had my engine read today and it also pulled a P1400 MDP error. The car runs great, my EGR is blocked. Any reccommendations?
