Hi,
I searched but only found one thread. My sister 97 gs spyder has a check engine light code pulled. It is P1750 which is Solenoid Assembly Malfunction. Could anyone tell me where this Solenoid located at and how hard it's to fix the problem. Pictures would be great

Many Thanks
V

i dont mean to revive a dead thread, and im new 2 this site, but does anyone know where this is located? i need 2 see if i have 2 buy an end clutch kit or this assembly, (96 gsx w/no O/D) a link or pics would be much appreciated so i can remove them and check em. thx

That is a information only code. This is the correct way to test for that problem.

1. Using a analog volt meter, connect the negative lead to pin 4 and the positive lead to pin 6 of the diagnostic connector. There are short triggers and long triggers. The short are the single digits of the code and the long trigger is the tens digit. (i.e. 3 long and 4 short would equal a code 34 )

Oh, does your transmission slip during a 4 gear engagement or at all? Usually mechanical problems with the trans will set this code...:dsm:

yes just o/d, all other gears work perfect, no power loss or slipping, ive only had the car a month, so i changed all fluids bout a week after i got it, then i noticed o/d kickin off now and then into neutral. so i bumped into N then back into D and its fine. now when i try o/d its nothing and rarely it tries 2 grab for a sec. then slips into neutral, CEL(p1750) came on after me tryin 2 get o/d 2 work while driving. (flipping the o/d switch on and off). ive read on here its ###### the end clutch, but im new to these cars, i just dont know. im a convert to dsm's from honda's.LOL
