clutch slips after i drive it for a while

I just got done putting in my crate engine i bought a center force dual friction clutch, a act flywheel and a new slave cylinder and it works fine right away until i drive around then the pedal gets hard and slips all the time like there is no clutch if anyone knows whats wrong let me know thanks

what is your pressure plate?

I checked my clutch lever and yea i do need to put washer behind the pivot ball but when my engine gets warm the clutch will slip when i get on it and i have a centerforce pressure plate. Thanks

I had the EXACT same problem with my car. First I adjusted the clutch rod under the dash. Worked fine for about a month, then did it again one day. Then I adjusted the upper stop (raised the pedal), and it went away. Now It's been a little over a month and it's still working properly.
