I just got done putting in my crate engine i bought a center force dual friction clutch, a act flywheel and a new slave cylinder and it works fine right away until i drive around then the pedal gets hard and slips all the time like there is no clutch if anyone knows whats wrong let me know thanks:confused:

I checked my clutch lever and yea i do need to put washer behind the pivot ball but when my engine gets warm the clutch will slip when i get on it and i have a centerforce pressure plate. Thanks

I had the EXACT same problem with my car. First I adjusted the clutch rod under the dash. Worked fine for about a month, then did it again one day. Then I adjusted the upper stop (raised the pedal), and it went away. Now It's been a little over a month and it's still working properly.

Here is how to adjust it.
