Did you make sure that your clutch is adjusted properly and that your pivotball is properly shimmed?
Check out the videos section on www.jackstransmissions.com to check and see if you have your clutch properly adjusted.

how do the glazing happen... i ajusted the master cylinder rod didnt really help now my car wont find 3rd 4th or 5th or reverse..... The only gears it finds is 1st and 2nd and those gears are not like they should be... I put a washer behind the the ball in the trans to.... What exactly would it do if i glazed the clutch over... And sometimes my car will burn the clutch.. when i get into boost like 3500 to 4000 rpms it will start to slip anyone have anything i can try i have a AWD but the tranfer case went out so i pulled that off and the drive shaft so i thought that was my problem but thats not my only problem... so please someone help im so sick of this car right now i just want it to run the right way....

Did you perhaps adjust that clutch master cylinder rod the wrong way? You're wanting it to go further out the the end of its threads.I just did an ACT 2100 install and did not shim the pivot ball, the clutch wanted to engage directly off the floor.(this is my own fault)

I also had the problem of not getting it into gear a couple weeks later like your problem after adjustment.I adjusted mine to the end of the threads and it shifted great, and no longer engaged just off the floor...now,3 weeks later, its getting hard to shift again. That is because my clutch master is shot and needs replaced or rebuilt.

Did you break in the clutch with 500 miles of easy city driving staying out of the boost? I never saw you answer that.

If you watched the video and adjusted it correctly and now it doesn't disengage properly, you have another issue. Either you need to bleed it, or there is something wrong with the slave, master, or a line, or you already destroyed the clutch. If you bleed the clutch with it adjusted wrong, it won't bleed right. Try bleed it with it adjusted correctly. Double check how it's adjusted after you re-bleed it.

Keep adjusting it up (lengthening the master cylinder rod) until you can't push the slave cylinder in by hand, and then turn it back the other way 1/4 round at a time until you can push it in again.

Pay attention to jrohner's post above.

You need to break in the clutch for 500 miles of moderate city driving staying out of the boost!!!!!!!!!!.The friction disk, pressure plate, and flywheel all need to seat together and then your clutch will have the holding power it should and not slip.Hit 5 psi occaionally if you must but DO not try to hit full boost before 500 miles.it should also not slip like you're describing even during break in.

Did you get the flywheel resurfaced and stepped to .610 thousandths?
