Well I have a new clutch to go in but I noticed something wierd... The clutch only seems to slip when its cold outside. Like 20-30 degrees. Earlier in the day it was 45ish. Clutch did not seem to slip at all unless it was in 4th gear flooring it at 3500 rpms. But now at night its about 20 something degrees, it slips bad. like it slipped going 3/4 throttle in 2nd gear to pull on the highway. The fluid is fairly new. Dot3 synthetic. About 400-500 miles old. I have no restrictor in my slave either anymore. (reason being when it was cold out the clutch pedal didnt seem to let up fast. Stuck part way in the middle) Figured it did that because it was in the teens in temp. So I took the restrictor out. Anyone have any ideas before I put my new clutch in on thursday? I dont wanna ruin a good clutch if it will still slip in the cold weather...
Thanks!
