Clutch slipping when cold???

so after i had done my BCS mod my clutch started to slip. but after driving it around for about 30mins or so it will hook up just fine, even with hard launches.
i went out to try it again and the engine was all warmed up, i when out and the same thing happened. it is a little weard that the trans and clutch needs to be warmed up before doing some small pulls in it.:confused:

if any of you guy's have had a problem like this and/or now of a way to fix it ### let me know. thx in advanced

btw the clutch does have about 2-2 1/2 in in play at the top of the pedal
