I have a newer centerforce Clutch in my gsx. I drove about 30 miles to my buddys house not romping on it and when i got there, i hung out with him for awhile then we took off. I started it normally, i didn't dump the clutch or anything i just took off. Once i fully released the clutch i got on it a little, not WOT but a little. ONce i did this the clutch slipped ridiculously. so i stopped and bleed my clutch right on the side of the road, with the help of a buddy. That didnt fix it and i tried all ways possible. The slave cylinder is new and the clutch is newer. I dont think the guy resurfaced the Flyweel but it hasnt done it and its been on for a decent while. it did it once before but it stopped and hasnt done it since now. It started after i put another tranny in. the clutch looked Great And the flywheel wasnt visible damaged so i continued to Put it in. No idea what could be wrong. I searched the Forums and found nothing With my exact problem. It slips Hardcore in first grabs a little better in second third is decent and fourth and fifth there is no slip at WOT. 1,2,3 all slip at WOT I appreciate any responses ahead of time.

Well did you resurface your flywheel and was everything in clean condition.. Sometimes it will slip if it is dirty until it cleans itself up alittle.. I put a old act clutch disc in a newer pressure plate and the first time I went WOT it slipped terribly and i thought i wasted my time.. I drove around for a while and kinda slipped it to clean up the disc and it came back and i pulled a 1.76 60 foot the next week..

*sorry i posted a question that was already answered.. Its hard to read that..**

How's it goin brother? ok, 9 times out of 10 your problem is going to be that when youre clutch was installed that your clutch pedal was not properly adjusted/ not at all. You need to adjust the clutch pedal so there is some free play at the top (pedal movement before actual clutch movement, this prevents pump up and thus clutch slippage) im pretty sure your fighting either pump up or like i said a maladjusted pedal. ok, so here we go, youre going to need a 12mm wrench and a pair of locking pliers climb under your drivers side dash, look at your clutch pedal assembly, at the rear of the clutch pedal you will see a linkage with a threaded rod that runs from the fire walll to the linkage, take the 12mm wrench and loosen the jam nut on that rod, now sometimes your lucky and can turn the rod by hand, for all other times grab those pliers and give the rod a few turns to the right to lower the pedal and increase the free play or to the left to raise the pedal and decrease freeplay. ok brohter, hope this helps you out some, if you have any other questions, drop us a line and we'll give ya a hand.

good luck bro and WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!

Whoa! Red flag! You need to adjust your pedal today.....like now. Your master cylinder is not adjusting properly and you are not hitting the check valve properly. i had the same issue, and thought oh it fixed itself untill it fried my clutch!

Thanks for everyones replys and that video Helped me tons. Ok Long story time. There was a loud screeching sound like a belt was slipping. So i got down there to fix my oil pressure gauge and I told my friend to start the car and the whole harmonic balancer shook really bad. So i pulled and and replaced it ### the old one was shot. Replaced it and all was well went to start it and It didnt. So i wondered what could i have done. So i started taking the timing cover off to see if i messed up a sensor. Then a good friend of mine came over and i said hey lets do a compression test. That failed epicly So We tore the valve cover off. When we did this we seen rockers laying in there. i almost broke out in tears. So we went ahead and pulled the head. After pulling the head i prayed there werent bent valves but there was. Seemed when the harmonic balancer shook real bad it threw time and Bent valves. So i pulled the engine and am in the process of rebuilding it. Any suggestions on the rebuild process as of parts and what not? Going back as stock and cheap but sturdy as possible. Lots of parts are still good. The pistons are ok but i think im going to buy a whole rebuild kit with pistons and all. O and eliminate the Balance shaft. i heard those things cause problems.
