clutch slippage morning only

I have exedy stage one clutch and I am doing around 240 WHP, my clutch is only slipping in the morning when the car is still cold and after that it works perfectly any idea what could be wrong? The clutch is adjusted and works pretty well after few runs ???

I have seen similar issues from defective pressure plates as well as clutch hydraulics improperly adjusted causing the TOB to partially disengage the clutch. My money is on defective pressure plate though.

you might be 100000% right because i could not find here in UAE DUBAI an eclipse pressure plate and ended up putting one that fit in perfectly from L400 mitsubishi truck ( that was the only pressure plate that fit)

any possible fix for this ?

if you got the money, i would just get like an exedy stage 2 clutch kit, depending on how old our clutch set up is.

I agree sounds like the pressure plate I don't think the ones in fuso's hav the same grip

I am jealous... I would love to be fixing DSM's in Dubai. That is one of the nicest cities I have ever stayed in. I want to go skiing when it's 110 degrees outside again. Too bad immigration and citizenship is so difficult...

Anyhow, Your best bet would probably be to order the correct clutch plate internationally and just have it shipped in group parcel from someplace like San Diego, where there are a lot of military and civilian contractors who are moving to your area. It may take longer, but it won't cost quite as much, especially considering import duties and the weight of the plate itself.

The possible fix is having myself or another business ship you over the proper pressure plate for your application. I ship internationally all the time, and USPS flat rate international boxes are fairly cheap to ship out a clutch assembly. A clutch kit (pressure plate, disk, TOB and alignment tool) is around $55-60 in additional shipping.
