I have a brand new rebuilt bottom end, new XACT flywheel, new RPS clutch and pressure plate, new master and slave cylinder, new pivot, forks and TOB. I installed everything listed above about 1500 miles ago and there was this odd ticking noise coming from the bell housing, I didn't have the time to take the tranny out again since I started my job and after a few hundred miles the ticking stopped. recently I noticed that my clutch was slipping and it gradually started to get worse to the point where I had to floor it just to get going from a stop. I finally tore out my tranny again to find that the clutch was fine but my fork had a big groove notched into it from the pressure plate (hence the ticking at the beginning).
Does anyone have any idea why with everything brand new why the fork would be hitting the pressure plate?? also the handle of the fork is forced as close as it can to the slave. what would cause that?? and what is causing my clutch to slip so much, this is getting rediculus to drive.
Thanks for the help
