Ok plain and easy question...I changed my clutch and the engagement point is way way high....I've look on rre's page and team rip's page, but nothing thats clear..Which way do I turn the adjustment rod to lower the engagement point? (clockwise or counter - also from what refernce point are you getting clockwise...looking at firewall or on your back looking up?)

just play with it and get it where you like it. it has been to long cant remember which way is which. sorry...:confused:
 
thanks defiant but I have read that page and doesnt say which way to turn the rod...nevermind though I will just figure it out on saturday..... are there any ill effects to the car from having a high disengagement point?

Turn the nut on the master cylinder so the nut goes in towards the firewall for a lower engagement point. If to high the your putting excess stress on the hydrolic system which in tern will eventually wear out the master and slave much faster.
 
If you were facing the firewall from the pedal side, you would turn the rod clockwise to raise the engagement point, and counterclockwise to lower it.
