ok a couple of days ago as i go to the pet store and i was getting my car up to speed and my car started to rev real high. i thought my foot was on the clutch but it wasent then i realised that it was slipping real bad. so what could it be the plate or the clutch itself. it is a ACT 2600 and also could thins be somthing eles or an easy fix. i dough the east fix thing with my luck ill need a whole new kit thanx for the help.

it has probly bin on there for a wile. when i got the car it had it. so it had 2 owners befor i got it . and they both raced it then i guess maby 3-5 years so it is probly in bad shape s0o you think it could be the disk not the clutch itself do you know how i can tell that. thanx

in that case im pretty sure the disc and plate are both worn out. I would just replace both the pressure plate and clutch disc.....just buy a new ACT 2600 kit.

Sux when the engine revs and car doesn't go anywhere doesn't it?

yea it moves rite up too 3000rpm then it revs after that then it stops moving. well i called turbo trix today and they said that they are goin to work on it tomarrow so maby it will be done then.how long does a clutch take i know its a pain in the butt. some one told me a day i hope so

For someone that knows what they are doing, with all the tools that they need, it will take less than a day. I have been told that it is pretty easy on our cars.
