So im new to the world of DSM tuning, not just to this sight, i just recently purchased a 97 gst spyder, i love the car. The guy before me showed her alot of love and i am far beyond excited to learn as much as i can so this car can be everything i know it can be.

With this being said, i have looked through threads and posts about clutch problems and none of them seem to fit the bill just right. So the Car doesnt wanna go into gear all the time, When i first got it, i blead the lines and no bubbles, But simply pumping a few times would solve it. However today that was not the case, haha if im driving i can get it into a gear, but when i stop, well i spent atleast 7 minutes collectively at stop signs and stop lights haha. But when i went to start it the last time, i started it in first gear, and even though i had the clutch all the way down, it was still trying to roll forward. So im hoping i dont have to replace the slave cylinder but its not engaging all the way. Now the clutch pedal is adjusted to release real close to the fire wall. If i simply adjust the pedal would that solve this? Is there a seperate resevoir from the master one on the fire wall? Any advice on what to look for, links whatever works :)

The fluid looks fine, the resevoir seems to be fine, and im not sure what type of clutch is in it, the guy i got it from stopped replying -_- is there a seperate resevoir off the slave?

The pedal seems to stick every once in awhile, and i cant really tell if its "loosing" pressure ### he has it set so low (im not use to it yet haha) As far as leaks there are none that i can see. Are there any, non obvious areas to check that someone of my basic knowledge might have looked over?

Sounds like you have a leaky master/slave.
Even if you do not find fluid in the slave boot, or fluid running down the firewall underneath your driver's side carpeting - I'd replace/rebuild those cylinders.

Just make sure you have a swivel socket for the master or you'll hate your life.

http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages/tech-articles Watch the clutch adjustment video and ensure you have your clutch properly adjusted. This is your car now, you might disregard the previous owners setup. Disregard is perhaps a strong term, but what I mean to say is that you might consider putting his experience to the side for a moment while you build up your own. He may have it set low for a reason, he may have had it setup incorrectly.

Had this same problem on my 1g. Till the clutch stayed stuck on the floor. I replaced the slave and master and it solved the problem. But like the other member said, the master is not in a so good place, so you will spend some time there, the other is fairly easy.
