My clutch petal slowly falls to the floor above 3k and will hit the floor just about until I let off. It then comes back up when I come off the throttle. At idle the pressure is fine. OEM throw out bearing and fork are 5k old installed at tre. Car not running there is no problem, and the petal is very firm like it should be. No leaks and fluid is full in the reservoir. And just to eliminate the crankwalk posts, its a 6 bolt amd my clutch is adjusted perfectly.

Only thing I can think of is the trans MIGHT be loose from the vibration of solid mounts, because it felt a little notchy after warm up. but it was too hot to stick my arm in there so I will wait till the morning to see if I am right.

If anyone has ever had this happen under acceleration please chime in.

I'm having the same problem. I constantly have to pump my clutch to keep the pedal pressure up. And if I floor it in 1st gear, then it'll grind really bad going into 2nd.

Mine does that too where the higher the Rpm the easier it is to get into gear. Low rpm (below 3k) it's pretty notchy. I still have not found out why, mine is not leaking, low or anything.

Checked the bolts to the trans and slave cylinder. All were tight as could be. Bleed the clutch to be positive, and before starting there were no signs of fluid lose. I tried adjusting the petal and it seemed to change nothing no matter how low I put the adjustment on the clutch petal.

The petal seemed to auto adjust itself to disengage at the top after a few gear changes and continues to go to the floor on its own. Any ideas?

Pretty sure the other posts in this thread are not related to your problem.

Are your flywheel bolts loctited? This is just about all I can think of. How bizarre.

It could be coming loose? Possibly?

Maybe it's crank wa- :p

More information in detail about what happens.

Does the pedal fall to the floor, or does the engagement just change?
