Ok just got done with my build. Started to drive around with my car for about a month and one day the car would not start. So hooked up my laptop with dsmlink and seen that my throttle position was at 99% with the car not even running and the tps volts are at 9.96. So did some research and replaced the tps but still same problem but, when you unplug the sensor it does go down to 0%. Than tried to calibrate the throttle position by using dsmlink but, couldn't because the volts are to high and would not move when you push the gas pedal. Also sent in the ecu to get looked at and everything was good. And looked at all the wires didn't notice anything. Please someone help me??

You might have something wrong in the throttle body, You might have a bad bracket (the one that turns the TPS).

Remove the TPS but leave it connected, once is unbolted, turn the inside of the TPS and check on link that it does read, if it doesn't, then the TPS is bad as well, But if it does read, then make sure the bracket at the throttle body is good, if it is good, then install it.

Make sure you install it the right way, otherwise, it will not read.

Yea I have already tried taking off the tps and moved around the switch in the back and the only thing it does is move the tsp volts from 9.96 to 9.94 for like a second or two. The tps I put into my friends car and worked fine.

Sound like the sensor ground wire is broken somewhere. Try backprobing the sensor ground wire at the connector and hooking it to the battery negative temporarily.

Currently your ECU is providing 5-volt reference voltage and is receiving on the signal wire since unplugging the sensor caused it to drop to zero.

With no ground connection there will be no resistance drop no matter what position your TPS is in so it will always send a 5v signal back to the ECU.

I hooked up the ground to the battery and worked so run new ground and everything is all good thank you guys for the help.
