I believe what i'm talking about is call a clutch plat. but anyways the metal gear that bolts to out clutch, it looks like a thin flywheel. anyways has anyone had problems with theres? there factory one i mean. It seems kinda weak, is it? I should be puttin down 500+ hp as of may, will the plate blow?

It's called a Flex Plate
YES I KNOW they come in aoutmatics before anyone jump's down my throught BUT on a modular clutch the part that the fly wheel bolts to is the FLEX PLATE
anyway
NO it's not week. There is no aftermarket replace ment for it but HRC and alot of high hp neon's still use there stock flex plate and no problems

your sure i mean it feels like i could bend the thing with my hands.

yes it dose seem weak
After I ordered my Clurcm Master FX 600"I spent 1400$ on"
Once I got it, I was pissed because I thought I was going to get a replacment "gear". I thought that all thouse part's were going to be replaced. I mean why have any stock part's down there I your going to push big hp right??
SO I call CM and talked to Louis "he explains to me that that part dose not have to be replaced because the disk surface on a modular clutch dose not put pressure on it it applys pressure to the flywheel which is all one pice.

SO Iam still not happy with the reply I got so I call moder performance, chill factory, and HRC and they all pretty much tell me the same thing

That it dose not need to be replaced and even if you needed to replace it the only option you have is another stock one

Don't belive me or still not happy call them.

Oh i believe you, i just wanted to make sure. and $1400 on a clutch, man what's so great about it? the spec stage 5 is only $500.
