Alright s0o here is the deal, I have been battling for proper clutch pedal height for a while and im finally out of ideas. My pedal has like "2 levels". ( Ill try to explain it as best i can.) I press the clutch in normally and i can feel it stop. But if i push it harder i can get it to go down like about 1-2 inches until the pedal reachs the floor. The pressure on the lower level is twice as hard as the first. i tried to adjust the pedal lower and i can eliminate the
2nd level on the pedal but the clutch grabs really low. My pedal height would be perfect if it doesnt have that 2 level deal with it. When i push the pedal in normally to shift into gear its rough, but when i push it all the way down to the in the 2nd level it does it fine. I have changed both my master cylinder and clutch cylinder. I also installed an extended rod for the slave cylinder but still nothing. Ive bleed and bleed and still the same. Any ideas on what this "2 level pedal" is?

Take out the extended slave rod, put the regular one back in, adjust the upper stop of the pedal assembly until problem goes away.

THanks alot! Ill go check it out tomorrow.

Alright i tried to adjust the upper stopper and the "2 level pedal pressure" is still there. I have a feeling it has something to do internally. The pedal assembly is fine, both master and slave cylinder is brand new. All i noticed now is the TOB squeaks. What else could it be? Everything happened after the clutch install.

When you adjusted the upper stop, did you pull it out all the way? Have you tried using the normal slave rod? Those are the only things left I can think of if the hydraulic system is faulty. I have no experience with clutch or transmission mechanics so hopefully someone wiser can chime in.

alright to i went to check it out again 2day and after reading the article on the fork http://www.roadraceengineering.com/clutchandflywheeltech.htm. Mine sits towards the passeger so i guess i have a bent fork. But i dont see why it would have that double pressure feeling on the clutch pedal. so my question now is, If i replace my fork do i have to shim it or it will be set? Thanks for all the help, damn i just wanna drive my car again :(
I also have to worry about those 2 bolts for the axle support that snapped for my driverside axle shaft. Gah isnt it GrEAT to have a DSM?;)
