Clutch pedal lever worn

Hi

Today I was struggling for about 1 hour trying to get the clutch pedal assembly out. I managed to do it without removing the brake booster,BUT I loosened the master cylinder part of the assembly which hold a spring and lever. It seems the lever is worn and will need replacement -or welded as suggested on this forum-. So I'm afraid of how I will put all of this back "reverse of how I loosened it" . I just wanted to share this with you, hoping I would get some tips or something if I decide to weld the lever to the Clutch pedal arm.

I welded mine 4 years ago due to upgrading to ACT 2600. That bi*** screwed up my pedal assembly immediately. And I did it twice as the first time I was trying just to fix it, didn't wanna weld.
It's not that hard, but to be honest I don't want to do it again!
 
Im having the same issue with mine...idk if it would work or not but i was thinking maybe JB weld might hold it good enough, i dont know how much pressure there is going to be (im running an OEM clutch) so idk if the JB weld will hold up or not...any advice or opinions?

The 2600 messed up your assembly? How long have you been running the 2600?
 
I did this a while back, and decided no to weld my assembly. I picked up a rebiuld kit from JNZ Tuning.

I wanted to weld mine, but is is imperative you that all the components fit and move together as they did stock. I didn't have a way to ensure everything would be mocked up perfectly, so I didn't weld mine. Some guys suggested I make a jig, but for $80 bucks I just decided to go the easy route, and make sure it was done right the first time. You also need to make sure you don't melt any of the plastic bushings. If you are installing new bronze bushings, it's not as much of a worry. Lastly, unless you are good at welding, don't try it. A shitty weld won't hold up long, and pulling the pedal assembly twice is something I would NEVER want to do.
