Just recently I started to hear and feel a click in the clutch pedal when I press it down. It does it 2 or 3 times on its way down and up. Less than 10k miles ago I replaced clutch(act2600), flywheel (fidanza), and put in new oem pivot ball and clutch fork. I shimmed the pivot ball with a single cruch washer as recommended. Also put in the plastic sleeved tob that was included with the clutch. I'm very sure we installed everything correctly as it all worked good and still does it just developed this click. Also the clutch doesn't seem to engage as well as it used to when we first put it in. Could it just need adjustment? There's like an inch of pedal travel left after the clutch is fully disengaged which I don't know if that is normal or what. You can also hear the noise under the hood when pedal is pushed in. I am thinking maybe just some adjustment or master or slave cylinder, what do you guys think?? Thanks. :talon:

I have a similar problem with mt 95 gs-t after the dealer replaced my clutch and master cyl. I can lay on the floor board an press the clutch in half way and get a click, there is a nylon sleeve around the pivot pin and it moves back and forth giving me the click, the dealer told me that the pin or sleeve is worn giving me the play. I hope this will help you, as for the adjustment, as far as i know there is no clutch adjustment.

If the clutch pedal is the same in the 1g as the 2g, i have the Mitsu caps program and would be glad and look up the part numbers of the suspect worn parts if this would help anyone :)

So far I've read that it could be a master cylinder, some bushings/pins in the clutch pedal assembly, or just some part that needs lubed. As for the adjustment, there is a stud with a lock nut on it up by the master cylinder that you can turn in and out to adjust the pedal engagement point. I had to do this when I installed the new 2600 and it was great, but maybe it came loose and turned back out I'll have to re-adjust it I guess. Car still drives good, it's just this click is so annoying I need to get rid of it. I'll try and spray down the assembly tomorrow with WD-40 and see if that helps. If not I'll go from there and repalce some bushings and if nothing helps I guess the master cylinder also. Thanks for all the input. :thumb:

yeah mine clicks every once in a while as well... i pulled it apart one night and lubed it up to get rid of the squeak and click, it started doing the usual stuff a few weeks later.. i can live with it though..
