Clutch or Tranny probs...?

Well for awhile now the synchro for 2nd gear has been bad. If I drive hard a few pulls, it will grind going in every time unless I baby it, which I still try to do, but if I don't, after that it will be hard to get it in almost any gear. It's like that for a day or two then it gets alot better, almost to how it was before the grinding.

Well tonight I was driving kind of hard, I accidentally grinded a few times. Now when I push the clutch pedal in, I will hear a clicking noise, like something is turning and barely nicking something, if I rev it up a few hundred RPM's the sound will speed up. Once I start going in gear the sound will go away.
The clutch doesn't slip or anything, so I don't know what it could be..Any suggestions?

that sounds like the sound of a bad throw out bearing, but unlike what you said (unless the bearing is way bad) if you push the clutch pedal in the sound stops.

Clutch pedal out = no sound

Pedal pressed down = clicking noise.

Yeah as soon as I get my income tax return I'll get a SPEC stage 3 clutch..
