ok , so i recently bought a 420a 98 eclipse that had its motor recently rebuilt only 800miles on it , 100k on the tranny. fully stock.
i test drove the car and it was fine, ran great.
we decided to get it.
a mile after leaving the guys house , i stepped on the clutch and i heard a "snap" kinda sounded like a spring breaking.
clutch went flat to the floor, no pressure in the system. but it wasnt leaking, plenty of fluid in the resivor(sp?) as well. i was able to get it to my buddies shop , all the way there in first gear.
when i would push the clutch in , the slave cylinder would move the fork. so im lost on what it could be as we already bled the sytem a few times.
it moves into the gears fine when the motors off. and shifted perfectly before the problem occured.
any ideas here guys ?
