I have looked through threads.

Car is hard to get into any gear. You really got push down on it, and it gets super hard like 1 inch from the floor, but you have to push it down all the way or else it won't go into gear.

So i decided to adjust the clutch pushrod.
I adjusted the one part were the sensor is. Didn't do anything.
Then I accidently adjusted the brake pushrod LOL :banghead:

After fixing that mistake. I then looked for the clutch pushrod. I can't see anything.
Do I have to take off like parts under the dash or what?????

1g 91 eclipse.

Thanks ahead of time. It's dark out and I wanna get this done.

BTW I have already Bleeded the clutch slave. So thats out of the question.

Alright I'll take a pic if I can' find it this time, IM SERIOUS, its like its not connected to anything LOL So confused. My haynes manual says it looks like the BRake pushrod. Which is why I made the mistake of adjusting that. Picture was identical.

Just found it, It's by the gas pedal * go figure *. Explains everything. Im off to adjust update in a bit, this problem is very weird.

Seems the master cyl for the clutch, the pushrod only goes in so far, the pedal stops about 1 inch from the floor. If you continue to push on the clutch pedal, the pushrod doesnt do anything. What would cause that????? is the piston in the master fully extended?????

I did its fine. This is my first time messing with the clutch system on a car. So i'm learning but nothing is getting fixed.

I think the clutch is just a pos honestly. Or something is binding internally.

I bled the slave, I added a lil fluid. Adjusted the clutch pedal freeplay a bit. Nothing. Has to be the clutch assembly related.

I had the same problem with mine after I had a new ACT clutch installed. The car wouldn't go into gear unless the pedal was all the way to the floor. I had to take it back to the shop so they could adjust it for me. They said it was adjusted all the way but it would still take the pedal being almost all the way down before I could put it in gear. its my daily driver so I just got used to it. Let us know how it turns out.
