Okay during the winter i plowed a snow bank, not really hard i thought, but since then i have been having some troubles with the passenger front tire. when i hit a lil pothole or bump it makes a loud clunk sound like there's no shocks or somethin. and when i turn the car to the left i get a metalic grinding sound and alittle clunking. i have checked the rotor out on that side and it's kinda rust and there seems to be a few lil chunks taken off the top side of the rotor( the part with all the little squares rectangles whatever) Can anyone tell me what it could be and how to fix it. my buddy told me it might be the bearing or the tie rods, i Know i will for sure have to change the rotors and calipers, brakes. the car also vibrates alot when i spped up like around 60mph on up it just gets worse, the front end seems to be really loose and wants to pull to the right when i hit a tiny bump. any ideas are appreciated thanks for the space,
Dave

jack up each side and give the wheel a shake. there shouldnt be any noticeable side to side up or down wobble. bearings. or tierods. balljoint mabye.

up down wobble is balljoint? side to side tierods, and allaround looseness is bearing.

also, if when you hit the brakes, you get a lot of vibration. this can cause wobble and handling issues, because if the rotors are warped they are constantly moving the calipers in and out some small degree.

my car had minimal vibration under braking, and i just replaced all pads and rotors all the way around. Before i had a constant vibration at 55 - 80mph its totally gone now.

Wheel bearing or brakes. My mom's ford did it cuz of brakes, my dad's toyota did it because of a wheel bearing. I've never had the problem personally.
